Properties: Zinc borate is a white, non-toxic fine powder that is insoluble in water but easily soluble in hydrochloric acid.

Usage: It is widely used in such sectors as plastics, rubber, paint, ceramics, etc., especially as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant. Zinc borate can be used alone or mixed with antimony trioxide as a flame retardant.
